Following the recent release of Firmware Update 3.0.0 for the Merger LRF XT50, we are now expanding support to other Merger LRF models: XL50, XP35, and XP50 (XQ35 is coming soon). Download the update via the Stream Vision 2 app today to access new features, an enhanced user experience, and improved image quality.
Key highlights:
Ballistic calculation support
Pulsar Merger LRF binoculars are the first handheld devices to feature a built-in ballistic calculator. Available through the Stream Vision Ballistics app, this function displays ballistic corrections directly on your binoculars’ screen—even in complete darkness.
By entering your riflescope’s data into the Stream Vision Ballistics app and connecting it to your binoculars, you’ll see the suggested point of aiming for your selected riflescope. This enhances safety, convenience, and accuracy in decision-making.
Beyond ballistic corrections, the on-screen Ballistics Calculator widget also displays:
Currently, this feature is available only on iOS devices, with Android support coming soon. To enable ballistic calculations on Merger LRF devices, ensure you have the latest version of the Stream Vision Ballistics app.
Screen customization options
Understanding the need for device personalization, Pulsar has expanded screen customization options for all Merger LRF users.
With the new Green color palette, the users will be able to reduce eye fatigue and enjoy a familiar experience of analog night vision.
Meanwhile, three new screen shape options––rectangular, rounded, and circular––will allow to adapt the interface to your own preferences and visual requirements.
Finally, we have improved the display dimming function. By decreasing display and icon brightness, you can stay more covert while also minimizing eye fatigue in complete darkness.
Image quality and streaming
If you frequently stream footage to a phone or computer, you’ll appreciate the new option to stream directly via a USB Type-C cable. This method offers higher video quality compared to WiFi streaming, lower latency for a smoother viewing experience, and compatibility with video editing software
To use this feature, additional software is required. We recommend VLC Player, AMCap, USB Camera, or CamX. For iPhone users, this function is only available if your device has a USB Type-C port.
Additionally, for Merger LRF XL50 users, we have enhanced image processing algorithms to further reduce noise, delivering a sharper and more detailed image.
