PULSAR KRYPTON 2
Krypton 2 is a European-made compact and reliable front attachment that transforms daytime optics into a thermal imaging riflescope.
A time-proven player on the market, approved by hunters and ever-changing weather conditions, the Krypton 2 is high calibre resistant and distinct for point-of-impact stability.
The well-balanced, compact and lightweight design of Krypton 2 ensures even weight distribution on the riflescope. When mounted in front of the lens of daytime optics, the front attachment creates minimal impact on balance.
With the Krypton 2, you’ll have a long operation time of up to 11 hours on a single battery charge. A simple quick-release battery design is a major highlight when the battery runs flat in unexpected situations.

Compact and well-balanced design
When hunting, every extra gram of equipment counts. The Pulsar Krypton 2 thermal imaging monoculars are easy and comfortable to use. With their short length, light-weight design and uniform weight distribution, the Krypton 2 has minimal impact on the balance when mounted on the lens of an optical riflescope or spotting scope, while the Krypton 2 controls are easy to reach.
Tugged magnesium alloy housing
A rugged, lightweight magnesium alloy housing has high structural strength, protecting the Krypton 2 from shock and vibration loads. It is also resistant to external mechanical, temperature, and climatic effects. The magnesium alloy housing effectively removes and dissipates heat from the thermal imager’s electronic components, increasing the device’s operational stability.
Supreme energy performance
The quick-change rechargeable Li-Ion battery pack IPS7 provides enough power for up to 11 hours of nonstop operation. One battery pack can run the whole night without the need to be replaced. Quick-release and wireless design and long operating time are the major highlights of this power system.
Adaptable user interface
The Pulsar Krypton 2 thermal imaging monocular is a combination of a compact thermal imaging module and a Pulsar 3x20B quick-release monocular that can be used as an eyepiece. With one sweep the hunter gets a three times magnification spotting scope for natural daytime observation and a thermal imaging unit compatible with monocular-type daytime optical devices. The Krypton 2 thermal imaging module docks with daytime optics using a special PSP-B adaptor, converting the day optic into a thermal imaging device. A quick-release adaptor means that the Krypton 2 can be removed from, and re-installed to, a daytime spotting scope or binocular in seconds, while the precise positioning mechanism allows for the central alignment of the thermal image within the daytime optics field of view.
Quick-release PSP-B bayonet adaptors
The thermal imaging attachment is mounted on the adapter using a four-point bayonet. The bayonet coupling is highly reliable and quick and easy to attach. The attachment is removed from one adapter and installed on another with no need for special tools, allowing you to quickly and easily turn various daytime optics in the hunter’s arsenal into thermal imaging optics. The precise screen positioning mechanism enables the perfect alignment of the thermal or night vision image in the field of view of daylight optics for maximum viewing comfort.
Stream Vision 2. Wi-Fi integration with iOS and Android devices.
Built-in Wi-Fi connects the Krypton 2 to Android and iOS smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 mobile application. This opens up a wide range of options including wireless device software updates, real-time image transmission from the device to the smartphone screen, publication on social media of photo and video content captured by the device or transfer to messengers, remote control of digital device functions and access to the latest news from Pulsar. Moreover, registered users receive 16 GB of cloud storage for photos and videos recorded with the device.
High definition thermal imaging
Use the brightness and contrast adjustments to maximise the detail and informative value of the image in specific observation conditions. The User Mode function saves selected brightness and contrast settings in the device’s memory providing optimal image quality for the next use of the thermal imager immediately, with no additional adjustments needed.
Extra-long 2300 m detection range
Powerful objective lens in combination with professional grade 12 µm thermal imaging sensor provides exceptional detection capabilities. A standard 1.8m tall object can be detected at a 2300m distance in complete darkness.
Quick transformation from clip-on to 3x thermal monocular
A few seconds and the new Pulsar 3x20B compact monocular are all it take to turn Krypton 2 into a 3x thermal imaging device. The bayonet connection ensures that the Krypton 2 is quick and easy to transform from an attachment to a thermal imaging monocular and back in field conditions.
Full-HD multicolour AMOLED display
High contrast, a wide dynamic range and energy savings characterize the new FHD full-colour AMOLED display. The fast response time ensures a clear and smooth image when observing in motion or in freezing conditions.
