A thermal rifle scope is a must-have device for hunters who wish to increase their efficiency and accuracy, as well as safety in the field. While it can be a big investment, a thermal rifle scope will surely serve you for many years to come.

At Pulsar, we have two lines of thermal rifle scopes: Thermion 2 and Talion. In short, Thermion 2 is a family of premium thermal rifle scopes, while Talion is the top choice for hunters on the go. But let’s have a closer look.

The first thing to know about Thermion 2 is that it’s a thermal rifle scope that comes in a classic design. Such housing makes it more intuitive – not to mention the appealing look.

It is also worth mentioning that each Thermion 2 has a built-in ballistic calculator. So, even if you get a thermal imaging rifle scope without a built-in laser rangefinder, you will be able to get ballistic corrections and a suggested point of aim.

Thermion 2 scopes come with various lenses and sensors, but the star of the line is our flagship Thermion 2 LRF XL50 – our first thermal rifle scope with an HD thermal sensor resolution.

Now, if you do a lot of stalk hunting and are looking for thermal imaging rifle scope for this purpose, Talion will probably be a better choice. Super compact and lightweight, it is easier to carry, while still delivering great results at closer distances.

It’s important to remember that a thermal rifle scope should never be used as a thermal spotting scope. If you’re looking for the latter, head over to our thermal imaging monoculars and binoculars sections, where we have plenty of choice for spotting. If a thermal scope for rifle is, after all, what you’re looking for, then go ahead and have a closer look at the Thermion 2 and Talion lines.
