PULSAR IS TAKING THE NEXT MAJOR STEP IN ENABLING BALLISTIC CALCULATIONS IN TIME-PROVEN HUNTING RIFLESCOPES DIGEX C50 AND THERMION DUO DXP50/55.
Update to the newest firmware version 3.3 via Stream Vision 2 mobile application and start using the advantages of ballistics in your digital and multispectral scopes without the integrated laser rangefinder. All you must do is create ballistic profiles in the Stream Vision Ballistics app and then manually input the distance in your riflescope’s short menu.
Updating the long-time favorites
The latest in a series of ballistic updates, previously released for the Thermion 2 non-LRF models, is now available for an even wider range of Pulsar riflescopes. The most asked for being the Digex C50 day and night vision riflescope. The FW update 3.3 makes this scope even more accurate and versatile.
Please note that ballistic calculations will not be available for the Digex C50 models without the Wi-Fi since they do not support the Bluetooth connection and the ballistic profiles created in Stream Vision Ballistics app cannot be transferred to your riflescope.
The new update also introduces a new option for display dimming. After activating it in your device’s main menu, you will be able to instantly control the brightness of all display elements. That results in less tired vision during pitch-black nights or longer periods of observation. Also, with a dimmed display you will become less visible to the animals.
The same FW updates 3.3. are valid for the Thermion Duo DXP50 and the Thermion Duo DXP55 multispectral riflescopes. Now you will be able to place a precise shot with either thermal or 4K resolution digital channel.
Remember that to achieve ultimate accuracy and safety, both Thermion DUO channels must be zeroed separately. After updating your riflescope, it will even be easier to nail the target at any time of the day and in any weather conditions.
How to enable ballistic calculations
To start using the ballistic calculations in your Digex C50 or Thermion Duo DXP50/55, start by updating to the newest FW version 3.3 via Stream Vision 2 app. Then connect your scope via Bluetooth to the Stream Vision Ballistics mobile application. Once there, create up to ten ballistic profiles and upload them directly to your riflescope.
After uploading the profiles, you can now disconnect from the app. From now on, ballistic calculations will be made inside the riflescope.
Simply select one of the profiles in the long menu, then switch to the short menu and manually input the preferred distance to the target.
For example, you can measure the exact distance with a handheld. Or, if you know your hunting grounds well, you might be familiar with the distances and this way it is even easier.
The ballistic calculations are made inside the riflescope and the suggested point of aim will be instantly visible on your riflescope’s screen.
Moreover, via Bluetooth you will be able to connect your riflescope to a Pulsar BT remote control. It mimics the main buttons and functions of the riflescope and allows you to operate the device without any distractions.
