Thermion was the first thermal riflescope built with a classic design — the same handling and control layout as the daytime scope you already know. Thermion 3 is the third generation of that idea. Nothing about it needed reinventing. It needed to be perfected.
Further and faster
The laser rangefinder (LRF) now reaches 1,200 m, up from 800 m in the previous generation, and reads faster too — so you get the number while there’s still time to use it.
Sharper image detail
Thermion 3 comes in two sensor configurations. The flagship XT60, with an HD 1,280 × 1,024 thermal sensor, delivers the sharpest image detail in the line and is built primarily for long-range work, though it performs just as capably up close. The XR60, with a 640 × 480 sensor, supports long-distance, open-field hunting with a 4× base magnification.
The same feel, in the dark
Classic-style zoom and focus rings, fine-tuned to match the feel of a daytime scope. Your hand finds the ring without even looking — same turn, same feel as the scope you’ve used for years.
A bigger screen, built for long sits
The larger screen means more eye relief — real comfort on a big-caliber recoil — and less strain on your eyes over a long night in the field.
Power that goes the distance
Extended battery life, with a user-replaceable battery, so a spare keeps you going long after the first one runs out.
Stream Vision 2 & Stream Vision Ballistics
Both models pair with Stream Vision 2 and Stream Vision Ballistics, Pulsar’s companion apps, so you can manage footage and settings straight from your phone, while also getting instant on-screen ballistic calculations.
Perfected, in real life
We followed a professional hunter who supplies wild game to Michelin-starred restaurants — someone who can’t afford a wrong call — to see what Thermion 3 looks like under real pressure. Watch the documentary →
